Terms & Conditions for Commissions

By paying this invoice you agree to the following terms and conditions where applicable:
Please make payment in £ GBP. Payments made in other currencies will be refunded and payment will be required again in the correct currency.

Payment Plans:

Payment can be spread across a payment plan for a length of time with a final payment due date agreed by both parties.

In the case of Nelinde purchasing the models directly, the first payment will be for the total cost of models plus the cost of return shipping, so that in the event of cancellation those costs have already been satisfied. The remaining balance will be split into equal payments with a final payment due date agreed on by both parties.

Finished commissions will not be sent out until payment is received in full.

If problems with payments occur, then please keep Nelinde informed as timeframes can be amended to best suit your situation or refer to cancellation policy and terminate the contract upon mutual agreement.

If payments are not completed 2 months from the agreed upon final payment date and all attempts at contact from Nelinde have failed then you forfeit your right to the models and I am free to recoup my losses by the sale of said models with no refund owed to the commissioner.

Sending models to Nelinde:

Commissioner is responsible for sending models to the correct address and ensuring their safe and prompt arrival so adequate packaging and postal insurance is required as Nelinde will not be responsible for receiving damaged models.

Once work has commenced:

Once Nelinde has received or purchased the models and has them in hand, work will commence in line with the agreed upon timeframe, the designs and colour schemes as outlined in the contract.

Changes to schemes can be discussed throughout the work process up until they are sent out for delivery:

• Minor changes can be done for free.

• Major changes will incur additional costs to be agreed upon at the time.

In the event of agreed upon amendments to colour scheme and/or designs which incur additional costs, the invoice will be updated with the new details and price that will be due to be paid.

Your Right to Cancel:

• If you decide to cancel the commission and work has not yet started, you will get a refund minus the cost of purchased models and return shipping as Nelinde is unable to return them to the retailer. Nelinde will send the models to you unpainted/in the condition they were received.

• Once work has commenced on building/basing/painting the models, you will receive a refund up to 25% of the total excluding cost of the models and shipping and the amount of work completed: Refer to the breakdown of individual costs, e.g. basing has been completed so you will receive up to 25% of the total price minus basing price, cost of purchasing models and return delivery.
The models will be sent to you in the worked-on condition at time of cancellation.

• If work has been completed no refund will be provided and the models will be sent to you as originally agreed.

This refund policy is enforced to deter time wasters and resources lost that could be otherwise spent on completing another commission.
